Released on the album Synchronicity by the Police, this was a hit track.

Surprisingly, there was little variation in Sting's bassline, and similarly there was an arpeggio pattern to Andy Summers lead guitar chors, giving the track its distinct summer tune.

1983 was a great year, the eighties music was great, I was at college, sometimes out on my bike in the summer with my childhood friend Terry who has unfortunately now died.

This song takes me back to the good young times.



Puff Daddy also did a good rap version of this a decade later in memory to his friend.
