Father Figure [1988]

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion of this song, in fact any song. Mine deviates from the norm in this particular instance.

For me its is about the realtionship between a father and a son, where the father will do anything for his son, to protect his future, his innocence, and provide guidance to righteousness.

An excellent song from the excellent album Faith, beautifully composed, and pertinent about relationships.

I hope that I can be equally as influential to my children, and hope to god, that they do well in their lives. Nevertheless, I will be there for them always, to cirrect them from wrong and to provide guidance and reassurance.

Thanks Dad, remeber you always, with love from your Son.
